Why MADE?
Made is a Bible study group for girls 12-19 years old. It is part of the Pulse youth ministry at The Sanctuary of Pascagoula. This group was born in my heart many years ago and it’s taken many forms over the years. It started in 2004 with a group of girls meeting to have a fun night of doing hair and other girl topics. As the years progressed, we called it His Girl, and used a Bible Study called His Girl. I finally settled on the name Made.
It is based on Psalm 139:13-14
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
The Purpose Of MADE
I began this ministry in hope to encourage young women that they are created on purpose and empowered by a loving God. A God who knew them from the very beginning of their lives. He formed them with a purpose and mission in life.
Over the years God has allowed me to be a part of many girls’ lives! It fills my heart to be able to encourage each one along their journey of life.
I have created lessons and have used Bible Studies. We have made crafts and gathered at tables to eat. We have laughed and cried together. We have become a place of safety and love.
We are fearfully and wonderfully MADE!
